1. Information We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and any information you provide when setting up your team. When you make or receive payments through our platform, payment processing is handled by Stripe — we do not store credit card numbers or bank account details on our servers.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve FundLocker's services
- Process transactions and send related notifications
- Send fee reminders and team updates (which you can opt out of)
- Respond to support requests
- Detect and prevent fraud
3. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:
- Stripe — for payment processing
- Your team — financial summaries are visible to team members based on their role
- Service providers — hosting (Vercel), database (Supabase), and email services that help us operate
- Legal requirements — if required by law or to protect rights and safety
4. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to production systems is restricted and audited. We conduct regular security reviews of our infrastructure.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and data
- Export your data in a portable format
- Opt out of non-essential communications
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies to maintain your session and preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Analytics cookies, if used, are privacy-respecting and do not track you across sites.
8. Children's Privacy
FundLocker is designed for use by adults (team managers and parents). We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notice.
